Dean of the Department

Dr.S.Siva Ranjini is the Professor and Dean (CSE and IT) of Sethu Institute of Technology. She is well experienced and dedicated teacher service for more than 16 years in academics and research. She has published papers in more than 15 International Journals in peerreviewed Journals. She has attended more than 20 conferences. She is a recognized supervisor at Anna University and has produced three doctorates. She is awarded “Lilavati Award” in the year 2022 by AICTE.

Dr. Rathnamala M.Tech Ph.d is the Head of the Department. She is a distinguished academic with over 16 years of dedicated service in academics and research, She has published papers more than 10 in peer reviewed journal.She is awarded “Lilavathi award by AICTE for the service rendered by her in the field of Literacy and Life Skills and received an “Excellence in Leadership award for Portraying extra ordinary leadership skills,She is a leader who guides the department towards academic excellence, research innovation, industry relevance and equally renowned for her dedication to teaching and mentorship. She is a passionate educator, known for their transformative teaching methods that have ignited the minds of generations of students. Their commitment to nurturing young talents and inspiring the next wave of scholars is commendable.




About the Department

Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science started in the year 2021. This Department offers a 4 years B.Tech (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) Programme. It has a heartfelt team of dedicated faculty members with a sound knowledge in various areas and has the state-of-art facilities for various laboratories and supports smart class learning. It aims to develop students to excel in Data Science specific areas by inducing them to employ mathematical models with indispensable engineering and scientific principles to unravel solutions for life problems in the area of data science.

  • PO1- Apply the knowledge of mathematics, basic sciences, engineering fundamentals, and computer science and design to the solution of complex engineering problems.(engineering knowledge)
