The Department of CSE(Artificial Intelligence & Machine

been
approved
as Research Center by Anna University, Chennai from july, 2024. Our department offers technologies
to
tackle real-world problems across diverse industries qualitative training and scope for more
research.
Our department has Research lab Centre for Research in NEXGEN laboratory
to
promote
research and
development activities among Faculty, Research Scholars and Students with higher end machines and
latest
software. Dr.B.Guruprakash of AI & ML dept are recognized supervisor by Anna University.
Our mission is to push the boundaries of AI and ML by exploring new
algorithms,
enhancing
computational efficiency, and ensuring ethical applications of intelligent systems. We are committed
to
creating transformative technologies that will shape the future of human-machine interaction,
automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Faculty members, Research Scholars and students are utilizing these

laboratories for their
research activities and project work. Faculty members have published quality publications in Scopus
indexed and SCI Journals.

The Centre for Research in Image Processing
The Centre for Research in Image Processing is a research facility
within
the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, established with a focus on areas
such as Image Processing, Medical Image Processing, Satellite Image Processing,
Content-Based Image Retrieval, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, Web Mining, Data
Science and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. This lab is
dedicated to developing solutions for challenges in image processing applications by
implementing suitable technologies like Data Mining, Machine Learning, and others. The
