Dr. S. Siva Ranjini is the Professor and Dean (CSE and IT) of Sethu Institute of Technology.
She is a well-experienced and dedicated teacher with over 16 years of service in academics and research.
She has published papers in more than 15 peer-reviewed international journals and attended over 20 conferences.
She is a recognized supervisor at Anna University and has produced three doctorates.
In 2022, she was awarded the “Lilavati Award” by AICTE.
Head of the Department
Dr. J. Marimuthu is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department with a strong research background in deep learning, image and video processing. With 20+ years of teaching and research experience, Dr. J. Marimuthu has published more than 15 researchpapers in peer reviewed journals and international conferences. He is a life member of ISTE.
Department Overview
Sethu Institute of Technology introduced the Four-year B.E. program in Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things) from the academic year 2023.
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Internet of Things) at Sethu Institute of Technology offers a four-year B.E. program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to succeed in the rapidly evolving field of IoT. Our program focuses on developing skills in IoT architecture and protocols, sensor networks and data analytics, cloud computing and edge computing, machine learning and artificial intelligence for IoT, and cybersecurity and privacy in IoT systems.
With a strong emphasis on hands-on experience and research, our graduates are well-prepared for careers in IoT development and deployment, smart city infrastructure, industrial automation, healthcare technology, and cybersecurity. Our faculty members are experts in their fields, providing students with guidance and mentorship as they navigate the exciting world of IoT.
