FACULTY TALENT HUNT – 2015
The special guest Dr.R.Nalini, Principal, Sri Ram Engineering College emphasized on the need for increase in patent rights. Dr.R.Rajaram, Former Dean of Computer Science & Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai spoke to think creatively and bring more innovations which is necessary for the current scenario. Er.K.R.Krishnamoorthy, Former scientist of Vickram Sarabai Space Centre, ISRO, Trivandrum.
The winner of the Faculty Talent Hunt 2015 program, the team comprising of Dr.R.Velumani, Ms.Priyadharshini, and Ms.Monisha was awarded cash prize of Rs.10,000 for the project on Dynamic Patient data access with a dynamic SQR code. The second cash prize of Rs.8000 was awarded to the team comprising Dr.C.Kailasanathan, Dr.K.ArunBalasubramanian, Mr.T.Gangadharan and Mr.S.Shanmugam for the project on Motorized Multipurpose Machine. The best project from each department was awarded Rs.7500.
Drawing and Essay competition
To bring out the creativity of students a Drawing competition on Save the World was conducted on 21st July 2015 and the first prize, cash award of Rs.2000 was bagged by Ms. P.Meena, III year of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department . Ms. R.Raja Priya, IV year of Civil Engineering Department and D.Ramya Murugadurai ,II year Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering department was awarded first prize cash award of Rs.1500 for the Essay writing competition on Role of Social Media in Education conducted on 29th July 2015.
